Women’s and men’s yoga and fitness apparel is commonly sold by the wildly successful clothing company Lululemon. The most popular items of apparel produced by Lululemon are their stylish jackets, tank tops, and leggings, to mention a few. Are these clothes, however, overpriced in comparison to their true value?

Align Leggings

There are many colors and lengths available for the Lululemon Align Leggings, ranging from 21 to 28 inches. Some people claim that the high-waisted leggings feel as soft as butter. Nonetheless, a lot of people claim that these leggings pill easily. But are these leggings really worth $98? Madison Lewin, a junior, views things differently. “In my opinion, the leggings pill too easily and are not worth the price considering how much they pill up. Because of their status, I like them.” Mr. Malossi, the advisor for The Eagle’s Cry, said, “My daughter has those, but they’re quite pricy.”

Scuba Half-Zip

The light-weight Lululemon Scuba Half-Zip hoodie pairs well with leggings and is available in a variety of colors. I adore the one I got for Christmas this past year. But even though some people think the Scuba Half-Zip is pricey at $118, I think it’s worth the hype because it’s really comfortable and adorable! I do, in fact, heartily suggest the Scuba hoodie if you’re searching for a warm, lightweight zip-up sweater for the fall and winter.

Align Tank

The Align Tank is a cropped, lightweight tank top that is great for exercising. This also comes in numerous colors. Junior Sophia Lora shared that this tank top is “great for dance class!”. Olivia Greenfield shared, “This is my go-to travel tank! It’s very comfortable and flattering for airplane  travel.”Although this tank is $68, which Junior Nora Kerrigan believes it “is way too expensive, and I can find cheaper alternatives at other places.” 

Define Jacket

In the winter, staying warm is always a good idea. This famous zip-up jacket from Lululemon is a wonderful option for working out and costs $118. “It’s a cute jacket, but you can get cheaper alternatives somewhere else,” said Eva Neamonitis, junior. “I wouldn’t pay that price for that,” said Zach Fradella in addition. It is obvious that there are less expensive and comparable “dupes” of this jacket available elsewhere.

As you can see, Lululemon is famous for its trendy and comfortable workout clothes. However, The Eagle’s Cry has different opinions on this line of fashion.
