On November 29, 2023 BHS inducted its third ever National Science Honor Society.
All members have a demonstrate outstanding academic achievements with a minimum science average of 90% and an overall academic average of 85%.
Senior, Joy Kim, shares, “Being included in a program like this is such a fantastic opportunity to share the love for science with our community.”
The third ever chapter of the Bethpage High School NSHS, volunteer to help younger students grow their love for S.T.E.M.
Following moving speeches from our administrators, each officer lit a candle for one of the four pillars of the National Science Honor Society: scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Sixty-four new members were welcomed into this prestigious organization of aspiring scientists.
