Among the many extracurricular activities offered at BHS, the golf team is composed of the most dedicated, diligent, “gentlemenly” participants in school. The members practice regularly, even this past season despite the Bethpage Black becoming off limits for the Ryder Cup. “They’re really dedicated and always working to improve,” said BHS senior Jessica Maietta. There are three team captains, one of which being Ryan Betwinek. “He practices a lot and always makes sure to check on his team,” said BHS senior Timothy Conlon. Here is a verbatim interview with the BHS senior (and homecoming king) himself regarding his experience in this leadership position.
