Pop-artist Sabrina Carpenter brought her Short n’ Sweet Tour to Madison Square Garden. Selling out five-nights at MSG. Fashion editor Sophia Marullo and I attended the fourth night–the special Short n’ Spooky Halloween show. Where fans filled the arena in costumes– joining in on the Halloween spirit.
We arrived in style: Sophia wore a look inspired by Princess Diana’s iconic revenge dress, while I wore a baby yellow dress with bows that matched Sabrina’s sweet, girly aesthetic. Before Sabrina took the stage, the audience was entertained by two openers who fully embraced the Halloween spirit. Amber Mark came out first, dressed as Cat-woman, delivering a confident and energetic set that energized the crowd.
Mark was followed by Olivia Dean and her band, who appeared as the entire Scooby-Doo gang. Their playful costumes paired with soulful, Amy Winehouse-inspired performances had the arena cheering along.
When Sabrina finally stepped on stage, the arena erupted in applause. She opened with a burst of energy, perfectly matching the Halloween excitement in the crowd. Her first outfit, Wonder Woman, was radiating confidence, which was followed by a sparkly pink cowgirl inspired by the Barbie movie. She finished with a playful Fred Flintstone costume that had fans laughing and cheering. At one point, Sabrina arrested Drew Barrymore, who was dressed as Scream. When Drew took off the mask, the crowd audibly gasped.
The concert wasn’t short…but it was definitely sweet 😉
