Ariana Grande is a world renowned artist. She won Top Female Artist of 2019 and Best Pop Vocal Album for her album “Sweeter.” Ariana Grande began her musical career with the Broadway show “13,” and a role on Nickelodeon’s show Victorious. In 2013, she began her debut as a pop artist by dropping her first album “Yours Truly.” Since then she has made seven more studio albums including “Dangerous Woman,” “Sweeter,” “Thank You Next,” “Eternal Sunshine,” and “Positions.” Here are our top five favorite albums:
#1: Dangerous Woman (2016)
This album was nominated for best pop solo performance, and won her artist of the year at American Music Awards. This album includes songs like “Dangerous Woman,” “Side to Side,” and “Into You.” We feel that this is the best album because it was the album that brought her to fame in the music industry.
#2: Eternal Sunshine (2024)
This album explores the themes of heartbreak, divorce, and personal growth. Featuring a mix of R&B, house music, and pop. These lyrics reflect on past relationships, being in the public eye, and new beginnings. We believe that this album is very relatable, inspiring to listen to.
#3: Thank U, Next (2019)
Known for its personal lyrics, this album addresses feelings of grief, healing, and self empowerment. It is a high energy track featuring “Seven Rings,” and “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored.” This album is a great listen because of the emotional complexity and themes of independence.
#4 Positions (2020)
Positions is a mix of R&B and pop, featuring artists such as The Weeknd, Ty Dolla $ign, and Doja Cat. This album focuses on themes of new love, romance, and happiness. Her vocals are described as breathy and dynamic, and it includes songs like “34+35,” “POV,” and “God is a woman.”
#5 Sweetener (2018)
This album is a pop and R&B album that explores feelings of getting over pain and finding positivity after a hardship. The album features anthems, ballads, with opening songs like
“Raindrop (An Angel Cried)” reflects on past experiences compared to “God is a Woman” which shows a more confident and powerful look on life. These songs show a wide variety of feelings and emotions showcased in this album.

When asking sophomore Amelie Quintana, she explained, “I love Sweetener because when I was little, my mom made me listen to it all of the time.”
