Airing from 2012 to 2016, Gravity Falls has remained a beloved show that continues to capture the hearts of viewers. The show follows twins Dipper and Mabel Pines as they spend the summer with Grunkle Stan (their great-uncle Stan) in the mysterious town of Gravity Falls in Oregon. While helping their great-uncle with his tourist trap, the “Mystery Shack”, the twins uncover supernatural secrets, mythic creatures, and secret codes that make every episode even more exciting than the last.
Like many fans, I wish the story had continued after Season 2. Yeslyn Ortez, a senior, said, “The show is amazing. I just wish they made another season continuing the franchise.” Another senior, Tasnim Adhree, shared how devoted she was to the show. “I used to always watch it when I was younger. I would never skip an episode or turn off the TV when it aired.”
For me, what made Gravity Falls so special was how it balanced humor, mystery, and love when it comes to friendship and family. Each episode felt like a puzzle that the twins and the viewers had to solve, and the characters’ growth and relationships with each other made the story feel even more meaningful. Even years later, it’s a show that I still find myself happily rewatching again and again.
