Across Bethpage, many students have positively impacted others, and Christina Davillas is definitely one of them. A varsity athlete since seventh grade and a stellar student, her admirable attitude truly stands out. As a BHS student, you may know Christina as her infectious laugh that instantly brightens a room or with her genuine warmth and positivity. The Eagle’s Cry decided to sit down with Christina and interview her.
The Eagle’s Cry: What sports and clubs are you a member of?
“For sports, Marine Fitness and Gymnastics. But for clubs, Spanish Club and SADD Club. I’m also a member of the Science Honor Society, National Honor Society, and Technical Honor Society.”
The Eagle’s Cry: What is your favorite part of being a member of two very different varsity teams?
“I really enjoy the bonds created with teammates and the fun events we do together.”
The Eagle’s Cry: As anyone that knows you knows, you are a big fan of Christmas. What is your favorite Christmas movie?
“Hmm… probably the classic Home Alone.”
The Eagle’s Cry: How has working out consistently impacted not only your physical but mental state?
“Well…working out helps deal with stress and clears my mind usually. I was always told that working out positively affects mental and physical health.”
The Eagle’s Cry: What is your favorite memory from your past 4 years so far?
“Definitely both years of Marine Fitness Nationals.”
Clearly, you can now understand why Christina is so loved and appreciated by the BHS community. Christina’s everlasting positive attitude towards life is something that we know will only continue to make her shine in the future.
