On March 26, 2026, the 13th Annual iHeart Music Awards was hosted at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Many artists were recognized for their talents with outstanding performances and awards.
The award show began with an outstanding performance by Alex Warren where he performed his hit song “Ordinary” along with his latest single “Fever Dream.” After his performance, he was awarded Breakthrough Artist of the Year and was later awarded Song of the Year for his song “Ordinary.”
Junior Gabrielle Alava says, “I am very happy that Alex Warren was recognized at the awards ceremony, and I thought that his performance was great! I love his new song.”
New rising artist Sombr won his first iHeart award for his album I Barely Know Her, winning Alternative Album of the Year.
The artist that won a gazillion awards at the ceremony (7 to be exact) was, to no one’s surprise, Taylor Swift. She attended the event with her fiancee Travis Kelce and was quite the supporter, dancing to performances and cheering for everyone. Swift walked home with Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for The Life of a Showgirl, Pop Song of the Year for The Fate of Ophelia, and many more awards!
Junior Sophia Marullo says, “I loved her new album and I love The Fate of Ophelia so I am very happy that she was recognized and awarded!”
Some artists were highly recognized at the ceremony. Miley Cyrus was awarded the iHeart Innovator Award, which she spoke about the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana. John Mellencamp was awarded the iHeart Icon Award, and gave a speech and performed his greatest hits.
Other performances of the night included RAYE performing her hit song “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND?,” Lainey Wilson performing some of her songs, and a group performance by TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, and En Vogue performing for the first time!
This event was hosted by the one and only Ludacris. The award ceremony was concluded with an amazing performance by Ludacris.
Overall, this award ceremony was a night full of fun music and awards. Congratulations to all of the deserved winners!
