With Valentine’s Day coming up, promise rings are often a popular gift to give or receive. They symbolize love and devotion to one another, promising the couple will stay together forever. 

One specific promise ring is popular on social media platform, TikTok, called the Darry ring. People have been buying it for their significant others for the last few months. What makes the Darry Ring so special is that someone can only buy it once in their lifetime.

In order to buy it you need to provide a form of identification so the buyer enters the system and can’t buy it again. Some feel this is not a good idea and the trend will die soon but others love the idea.

However, some appreciate them more than others. Senior Bella Brady said, “I wanted one because it symbolizes a promise, the next step in the relationship. You’re trying to make it last.”

The Darry Ring prices start at $490 and can get as expensive as $13,000 some people may not want to spend that much money on such a small piece of jewelry unless it’s an engagement ring.
