Madison Arthur is a senior at Bethpage High School. Madison is on the Cheerleading team and loves to practice and compete with her teammates. She is also the vice president of the Spanish Club. Through the Spanish club, Madison has shown a passion for the Spanish language and is excited to continue her academic journey at Ohio State University, where she is excited to explore new opportunities.
The Eagle’s Cry: What moment at Bethpage High School changed you the most, and why?
- Madison Arthur: “Our last football game during cheer season because it taught me to live in the moment and not take time for granted before we graduate.”

- Madison Arthur: “When I am on cheer with all of my friends on the sidelines cheering.”
The Eagle’s Cry: What relationships (friends, teachers, coaches) shaped who you’ve become?
- Madison Arthur: “My friend group from middle school and I love my teachers.”
The Eagle’s Cry: What is something people might not realize about your high school experience?
- Madison Arthur: “At times it can be very stressful, but overall it is a lot of fun.”
The Eagle’s Cry: When did you face a challenge, and how did it impact your growth?
- Madison Arthur: “My AP seminar where we had to do presentations. It made me a better public speaker and made me feel more comfortable when presenting.”
The Eagle’s Cry: What role did you naturally fall into in your school community (leader, supporter, quiet observer,
etc.)?
- Madison Arthur: “I would say I am very supportive of my friends and also see myself as a leader at times.”
The Eagle’s Cry: What motivated you to keep going during stressful or difficult times?
- Madison Arthur: “The idea of being successful after college.”
The Eagle’s Cry: How has Bethpage High School influenced your values or outlook on life?
- Madison Arthur: “It made me realize that we have limited time in your highschool.” experience so it made me live in the moment and not stress about the future.”
The Eagle’s Cry: What will you miss most about high school and what are you ready to leave behind?
- Madison Arthur: “I will miss my friends and family most and I am not ready to leave much behind because I am excited to start the next chapter of my life.”
The Eagle’s Cry: If you could go back to freshman year and tell yourself one thing, what would it be?
- Madison Arthur: “Do not take anything for granted throughout your time in high school.”
