My older sister, Julia, attended Bethpage Schools and was a graduate of the Class of 2025. She was a previous entertainment editor of The Eagle’s Cry, and has gone on to bigger and better things in college. The Eagle’s Cry interviewed Julia to see what she is up to and how she’s living the college life!
TEC: Where do you go to college and what are you studying?
I go to the University of Alabama and am in the sorority Alpha Delta Pi. I am a major in fashion merchandising and a minor in sales.
TEC: How has life been after high school?
My life has been amazing since after high school! I have loved living here and the best decision I ever made was to go to this school.
TEC: What do you miss about Bethpage High School and your high school days?
What I miss the most about Bethpage and BHS would be my friends and just the community, how everyone supports each other.
TEC: What do you enjoy about not attending high school anymore?
Something I enjoy about not attending high school anymore is how you can take your classes whenever you want and your schedule is more spread out.
TEC: Did any teacher from BHS inspire you?
Mr. Malossi inspired me the most definitely.
TEC: What has changed about you since leaving Bethpage High School?
I focus on my schoolwork now more than I did in high school.
TEC: What is one thing you miss about Bethpage overall when you are at college?
Something I miss overall about Bethpage while I am in college is how everyone is connected and knows each other so well.
TEC: If you could give someone advice who is going into college, what would you say?
I would say to always say yes to everything and to genuinely be yourself because then you’ll find your group of people.
Overall, Julia has become such a hard-working young woman, and has continued to grow as a person and a student.
