The big split between 25 year old influencer, Alix Earle and 30 year old NFL player, Braxton Berrios took the internet by storm last week. However this week, she’s been spotted in St. Barths with another NFL player, this time, a retired great, Tom Brady.
While Alix competed in L.A. and Braxton played football in Texas, the long distance put a strain on their relationship and was allegedly the deciding factor of their breakup. Alix and Braxton called it quits after 2 years just after her run on Dancing With the Stars this fall.
“That whole relationship just seemed messy,” said senior Mariah who was a big fan of the relationship.
Throughout the relationship, the couple spent a lot of time apart due to Braxton’s football career and Alix buying an apartment in L.A. In December.
Alix brought to social media the news about their split, saying it was a mutual decision so that they had the opportunity to focus on themselves.
December 31, just a few weeks after the news, Alix was spotted ringing in the New Year with Tom Brady. They both took a trip with their friends to St. Barths and ended up on the same yacht party for new years. At the party, photos and videos of the two laughing, talking, and hanging out closely surfaced on social media. Multiple sources described them to have an “instant connection” based on the videos and saw a great chemistry between them. The two also reportedly spent most of the night away from the group, which caused more speculation on how “friendly” this relationship was becoming.
After the trip, some sources claim they have been texting and keeping in touch, they even ran into each other at the College Football National Championship in Miami just a few days ago.
While neither of them have publicly confirmed a relationship, fans continue to speculate about if they’re just casual or getting serious.
Brady is 23 years older than Alix, which caused even more controversy on social media and is another reason why people think they wouldn’t get into a serious relationship.
“He’s way too old for her, with everything they have going on, it definitely wouldn’t work,” said senior Grace Miller.
In interviews, Brady claims he’s focused on work and his children, with little to no time for his personal life. Similarly, Alix Earle has talked about her self-growth journey and personal goals for 2026.
While this could be an unexpected power couple, the two both seem focused on their own lives and are way too busy to do a long-distance relationship.
