The Eagles Cry: What’s a challenge you’ve faced that shaped who you are today?
Sophia: “Probably the pressure of being successful in classes and the stress of tests and all of that is really hard.”
The Eagles Cry: If your future self could give you advice right now, what do you think they’d say?
Sophia: “Probably to just live in the moment and always be grateful for everything I have.”
The Eagles Cry: What’s one goal you have for this school year?
Sophia: “To get a 3 on AP Gove because that’s kind of a struggle and.. I’m scared.”
The Eagles Cry: Are you more of a planner or someone who goes with the flow?
Sophia: “I’m definitely a planner. I hate not knowing what’s going on. I need to know everything about everything before I do it, and I don’t work well with no information.”
The Eagles Cry: Do you think this affects how you are as a person?
Sophia: “Yes, I’m a very anxious person haha.”
The Eagles Cry: What does a “perfect day” look like to you?
Sophia: “So it’s probably around summertime, definitely with my friends going out and playing music in the car and then some sort of nice dinner after.”
The Eagles Cry: What topic could you talk about for hours?
Sophia: “The pressure of being in high school with all the different hard classes and everyone competing with each other, it’s a crazy environment and time in life.”
The Eagles Cry: If you could learn anything instantly, what would it be?
Sophia: “Politics. I wish I could learn everything about it and just know it…but it’s honestly so confusing.”
The Eagles Cry: What qualities do you value most in a friend?
Sophia: “I feel like in a friend they’d have to be very trusting because you’re gonna want to tell that person everything that happens. So trust is definitely really important.
The Eagles Cry: How do you usually handle stress or pressure?
Sophia: “Honestly, usually just bottle it up until it explodes haha. But sometimes I like to talk about it with my mom or a friend and that helps a ton.”
The Eagles Cry: What’s something you’re proud of that most people don’t notice?
Sophia: “I feel like my ability to talk to anyone. I’m a very friendly person and I’d like to say I treat people very nicely.”
