On Friday April 24th, the Bethpage boys’ lacrosse team defeated South Side 7-6 in an overtime thriller. With 37 seconds on the clock in overtime, attacker Joe Tierney, off a pass from Mike Carrello, netted the game-winning goal. Previously, in the fourth quarter with 1:10 left in the game, Tierney intercepted a clearing pass and buried the tying goal. He finished the game with four goals and one assist, while Mike Carrello fed out four assists, Brian Seiter scored two goals, and goalie Dylan Zuk made 11 saves.
