Jennie’s Book Review: Imaginary Enemy by Julie Gonzalez

Jennies Book Review: Imaginary Enemy by Julie Gonzalez

Imaginary Enemy by Julie Gonzalez –

It’s normal for children to have imaginary friends, but what about imaginary enemies? People always find it easier to blame someone else for something they did wrong or something bad that happened to them. This is Jane White’s way of pushing the blame on someone, under the penpal name of Gabriel.

She writes letters to Bubba, her imaginary enemy. In the book, readers watch Jane grow up and how Bubba helps her through some hard times. She gets herself into a mess being a tomboy troublemaker with the neighbor boys.

Review: definitely worth your time, as we’ve all gone through tough times and we can relate to the protagonist well.
