In “A Star Is Born,” Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga use their musical talents to delineate a passionate romance between Jack and Ally. The movie has a lot of ups and downs that will keep you wondering what will happen next. The struggles faced, the overcoming of those obstacles, heartbreaks and miracles made the movie the success that it is today. Many would describe this movie as “ gorgeous heartbreak “. You will see the light and dark of both Jack and Ally throughout the movie.

Bradley Cooper, famously known for his role in American Sniper, directed and starred as a main role in A Star is Born. Lady Gaga’s first acting role was this movie. Bradley Cooper casther after her heard her sing “ La Vie en Rose “ at a fundraiser event. In this moment, Cooper said that he knew. After that day, Cooper went to Gaga’s home to hear more of her voice and in that moment, a star was born, literally.

One of Cooper’s main themes that is portrayed in the movie is the struggle with addiction which is a real world problem that many struggle with everyday. The ups and downs of it, the overdose and rehabilitation. The mixture of alcohol and drugs that can come along with any Hollywood star is portrayed in this movie and how it can drastically affect someone’s life when they are put under immense amounts of pressure. Gaga [ Ally ] will be the light in Cooper’s [ Jack ] life throughout the movie, who persistently strives to give the support and help that Jack needs to become himself again.

A Star is Born made over $100 million in just over 2 weeks since it was released. This movie continues to draw the attention of many, as there are 2 other remakes of A Star is Born. Rotten Tomatoes gave the movie a 90%. Variety magazine describes it as “ A total emotional knockout, but it’s also a movie that gets you to believe, at every step, in the complicated rapture of the story it’s telling “.
