Mateo Alvarez is a junior at Bethpage high school.This is my first year writing about The Eagle’s Cry. Mateo loves playing basketball. He played JV basketball as a sophomore and got brought up that same year to Varsity. He played volleyball this year as a junior for the first time of his life. Mateo has a girlfriend who he spent his whole summer with. She inspires him to do better.
