For the first time in years, Frank Ocean, a popular artist, has dropped a snippet of music, leaving his fans in a frenzy. Since 2020, after releasing “Dear April” and “Cayendo”, Frank Ocean has seemingly vanished, leaving fans upset.

However, last month, American mixed martial artist Payton Talbot released a video with Frank Ocean’s voice in the background. The video, only 34 seconds long, left a lasting impact on his fans and music gurus. The snippet blew up overnight and was a hit, leaving many thinking Frank Ocean was back and was now going to begin to release music regularly again. However, some feel differently. 

Nora Kerrigan, an editor for The Eagle’s Cry, said, “as much as I would love to believe he’s back for good, I don’t think he is.”

Another senior, Katie O’Callaghan, said she “would like him to come back” and would like to “release the full song”. However, she is on the fence about whether Frank Ocean is going to make a return, but is hoping he will.
