Invincible is a superhero show available on Amazon Prime Video. The protagonist is the son of the omnipotent Viltrumite superhero Omni Man and a mother whose human name is Debbie Grayson. As he grows and develops his powers, he encounters several struggles physically and mentally. The animation is a solid 7.5/10 since there were times in some episodes that it felt stiff and awkward. But the character development of each character introduced into the show made me emotionally attached to them. My favorite character is Rex Splode since he showed major character growth from season 1 to season 3.
Personally with Invincible I think they could have done a better job on making Atom Eve a character with flexible strengths and creativity. Although I do appreciate how they made Debbie Grayson an individual character that doesn’t depend on Omni Man. She is a great example of a female supporting character that has her own independence and can stand her own ground. This is different from most shows that have female supportive characters who are watered down to a damsel in distress.
I highly recommend this show and am looking forward to the release of Season 4!
