On Wednesday March 12, the BHS Buddies Program took part in an action packed kick-ball game! After school, the Buddies headed to the softball field for an afternoon of fun!
BHS Buddies is a new program here at BHS lead by Physical Education teacher Ms. Kildare; each day one BHS seniors and ACE students meet for gym class. This group of seniors gave up their senior periods to participate in the new program.
We practice for the challenger basketball games and play other Phys. Ed. favorites like pins down dodgeball.
Shoutout to teachers and administrators Mr. Jantz, Mr. Tocco, Mrs. Hirsch-Beckman and others for their show of support at the game!
Senior “Buddy”, Allie O’Shea said, “being a part of this program is such a great and fun opportunity!”
Senior Zach Fradella said, “The kickball game looked so much fun, Buddies is such a great program.”
Overall, the event was a huge success and we look forward to future events!
The Buddies Program is an incredibly unique experience and all of us here at The Eagle’s Cry encourage rising seniors to participate in the upcoming school year. Be sure to support the ACE students at their next Challenger Basketball game on Wednesday 3/15!
