A few months ago, the school administration decided to limit the use of bending machines to after-school only. Since the policy has been implemented, many students have varying opinions on this matter.
Paridhi Miglani, a junior, said, “I am starving, day and night.” Another angry junior said, “I don’t appreciate how the vending machine companies aren’t letting me eat. LET ME EAT! LET ME EAT!”
Aleena Hussain, a senior, couldn’t care less. She said, “I don’t go to the vending machine at all so it doesn’t really matter to me. I don’t really have an opinion on it. Also, you can still use the vending machine in the cafeteria.”
Quite a number of students at BHS rely on the vending machines as a source for breakfast in the morning or for energy when they’re tired in class. The continuation of this new rule would heavily impact the student community, but despite disagreements from students, the vending machines are still only to be used after school.
