On Tuesday, February 25 the Bethpage Eagles Challenger Basketball team hosted the Seaford Vikings for their annual homecoming game. The stands were packed with support from students, family, and teachers. 

It was a close game, but ultimately Bethpage was victorious with a final score of 68-65! 

Junior Michael Romani shined with 24 points while sinking two three-pointers. And Matty “Buckets” Smith sank 10. 

Micheal said, “My favoite thing was that everyone came to support us. Everyone cheered when I hit the 3 pointer.”

“It made me happy that everyone came to support me, especially because I support them at their games.”

Jillian said, “My favorite part of the game was my slam dunk!”

Isabella said, “I am so excited for the rest of the season!”

Bethpage is so proud of the team’s dedication, determination, and hard work! All of us here at The Eagle’s Cry  are thrilled for our Golden Eagles! Please come support the team at their next home game on Wednesday 3/19, they are “pumped” for the rest of the season!
