With course selections for the next school year going on, sophomores at BHS are getting ready to prepare for their most important year of high school yet; their junior year! Juniors have even more elective opportunities, possibly finding what they are most interested in and taking their biggest exam, the SAT or ACT. Extracurricular activities, or things students do outside of school might reflect on what they’d hope to be in their future career and college decisions. Juniors can also start to visit colleges and get a feel for their campus and programs. Some students might have had their dream career or dream college chosen for years!
The sophomore Eagle’s Cry reporters have great career and college plans! These are some:
Luke Baumbach wants to be a speech pathologist, hoping to go to college on Long Island. He’s staying in journalism next year and will be doing TV news as another elective.
Caryn Cho hopes to become an immigration lawyer, but she is looking at colleges on the east coast.
Elizabeth Trimarco wants to pursue a career in health science and is also looking at colleges on the east coast mostly.
Sophomores outside of The Eagle’s Cry have some plans for their future as well!
