If you know any teenage girl, you might happen to know the common obsession with perfume. Some go for extremely expensive designer perfumes, and others go for the simple yet trustworthy, Bath & Body Works perfumes. Let’s talk to some BHS students about their favorite perfumes. Feel free to use this as a gift guide for the holidays!
On the more expensive side
Expensive perfumes are a great gift for the holidays! They can be super pricey but, in the end, be worth it. My personal favorite expensive perfume is the “Carolina Herrera, Good Girl Blush” perfume. This perfume can last the entire day which makes it a good pick.
An additional choice agreed upon by two seniors, Olivia Greenfield and Nora Kerrigan is the “Daisy by Marc Jacobs” perfume. Olivia claims that she gets compliments from others that it “smells like vanilla”.
Senior Gabby Canciani says that her favorite perfume is “My Way by Giorgio Armani”.
Additionally, senior Giselle D’Aleo says that she “love[s] Baccarat rouge 540”. Giselle adds that she also loves two perfumes by Burberry: “Burberry Goddess” and “Burberry Her”
Christina Davillas, another senior at BHS also loves her perfume. Christina uses the “Parfums de Marly” and says it “smells so good”.
Moderate Pricing
Next up we have our moderate priced perfumes.
Recently, Sol de Janerio perfumes have been insanely popular. According to many different students surveyed, the best scents are the number 62 and 40 scent.
As a cheaper option than “Daisy by Marc Jacobs”, Nora also likes the number 40 Sol de Janerio and claims that “it smells yummy”.
On the cheaper side
Personally, I love the Bath & Body Works perfumes. For their pricing, they are pretty good. But, the scents don’t last very long. My favorite scent is their “Vanilla Bean Noel” and their “Pink Paradise”.
A BHS student that would like to remain anonymous said that “Winter Candy Apple” is the “best scent”. She also added that it is the “only perfume that stays on” from Bath & Body Works.
It wouldn’t take a genius to determine that more expensive perfumes won the popular vote in this case. But, cheaper perfumes can sometimes be better and hold more value!
