NEWS BRIEFS!!! – 11/6/24

Clubs:

There will be a SADD Club meeting TOMORROW at 2:30 in the Little Theatre. New members are always welcome. Reach out to Mrs. Glassman in Guidance with any questions.

There will be a RED CROSS MEETING TOMORROW after school in room 211

Attention Seniors: Senior class will meet TOMORROW in Room 103 after school. We will discuss fundraising opportunities.

The internship club will meet TOMORROW, in room 114. Please see Ms. Kugler with any questions – all are welcome. We will be discussing the power of resumes.

Attention students interested in entering the health sciences and medical professionals fields. Join the 21st Century events that host activities in the medical field. See Mr. Tauriello or Grace Cho for more information. Our first meeting will be held TOMORROW at 2:30 in Room 210

The next mandatory SCIENCE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY meeting is on Tuesday 11/12 immediately after school in room 211. We will be discussing the induction ceremony! ALL members must attend!

Luke Baumbach

Luke Baumbach is a sophomore at Bethpage High School. This is his first year writing for The Eagle’s Cry. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his family and friends, play the guitar and participate in the BHS Masquers Guild. Some of his favorite music artists are Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, & One Direction.

Tara Gyaltsen, News Editor

Tara is currently a junior at BHS and it is her 3rd year writing for The Eagles’ Cry. She is a member of Global Cultural Club, Model UN, Marine Science Club, and Newspaper Club. Her favorite movie is either Shrek 2 or Ratatouille.

Audrey Wetzel

Audrey Wetzel is a sophomore at Bethpage High School. This is her first year working for The Eagle’s Cry. In her spare time she enjoys drawing, watching movies, and being with friends.

Elizabeth Trimarco

Elizabeth Trimarco is a sophomore at Bethpage High School. This is her first year writing for The Eagle’s Cry. She is on the softball, basketball, and cross country teams. In her free time she likes to hang out with her friends, travel, watch movies, and read.

Sophia Marullo

Sophia Marullo is a sophomore at Bethpage High School. This is her second year writing for The Eagle's Cry. She is in Vocal Versatility, and in her spare time she likes to write, spend time with friends and family, travel, watch movies and read.

Caryn Cho

Caryn is currently a sophomore at Bethpage High School and has been a part of The Eagle’s Cry newsletter for two years. In her freshman year she took part in the Newspaper club and is excited to be in the Journalism class. Apart from journaling, Caryn loves to play guitar, be a part of Mock Trial and Model UN for school, and travel.
