No matter what age you are, nearly everybody loves candy. There are too many types of candy to count, and if you tried, you’d be counting for ages! With so many types of candy, everyone has a favorite. That’s why I asked BHS students what their favorite candy is and why.
After interviewing a few students here at BHS, one major favorite was Sour Patch Kids. This candy is a typical sweet candy, but with a sour twist. There are four original flavors, but the candy is so loved, they have created even more flavors.
Sophomore, Hafsah Salman said, “They’re just so delicious!”
However, others dislike sour candy, opting for more traditional sweets.
Another fan favorite was Swedish Fish. This popular candy has been around since the 1950’s, and is sweet, berry flavored candy. Unlike other gummy candies, Swedish Fish does not use gelatin making it edible to more people. The candy is so popular, they created more flavors. However, the original lingonberry flavor is the most recognizable and favorite among BHS students.
Sophomore Marisa Linser claimed they’re her favorite because, “They are just so good!”
This just scratches the surface on students’ favorite candies at BHS. Between gummy candies and classic chocolate, it’s just so hard to decide on one favorite! Just be sure not to eat too much candy…you might regret it!
