Starbucks is a very popular coffee chain around the world, and is certainly loved by many. Students at Bethpage High School are, for sure, big fans. If you walk around the hallway or sit down in your class, I guarantee you will see at least one student holding one in their hands. The burning question is, what drink really is the best? Let’s interview students to get their opinion.
Sophomore Cali Ziminiski stands by her go-to order: Strawberry acai lemonade.
She states, “This drink is perfection. It’s sweet and is a must whenever it is hot outside.” This drink really seems to be a hit in BHS. Senior Sophia Lora agrees, “So so delicious. But it is absolutely exquisite when it is not too light, but not too dark of a pink. Right in the middle.”
This reporter can agree: this drink is amazing.
However, Senior Nora Kerrigan has not hopped onto the “strawberry acai refresher train.” She feels as if she is “basic” with her order, a black tea with light ice. She describes the drink as “a treat to look forward to all day,” and is considered her “pick-me-up” of the day. We reporters at The Eagle’s Cry failed to find a person who shares a favorite drink with Nora. She is just very unique!
Another fan favorite (fall favorite) is their seasonal pumpkin chai. Senior Julia Baumbach refers to it as “life-changing.” She says that it tastes like “a cozy fall morning.” Senior Eva Neamonitis agrees, “It is so good.” She also brings up a great point that “it should not be as expensive as it is.” All students should try it before it goes out of season! ACT FAST!
Students are not the only ones who enjoy beverages at Starbucks, BHS teachers love it too! Science teacher Mrs. Moscola says, “It’s not available anymore, but I really loved their lavender matcha latte.” This drink and the lavender flavor unfortunately was only for spring time. Fingers crossed it comes back next spring, because that lavender frappuccino was heavenly.
Now go try these drinks, and let us know what YOUR favorite is! Let us know some other delicious drinks that The Eagle’s Cry should try!
