Bethpage recently went up against Bellmore JFK and won 34-7. The Golden Eagles have two weeks to prepare for a crucial game to obtain a spot in the playoffs.

If Bethpage loses the next game, they’ll end the season with a record of 4-4 which is a slight improvement from last year’s record of 3-5. The final game of the season is against Lynbrook, who is currently 3-3.

The Golden Eagles had a tough loss against them last year, but I think the game will lean towards Bethpage winning this year. 

Bethpage went up against Mineola and won 37-3, while Lynbrook only won their game 21-7.

These scores give Bethpage High School hope of making the playoffs since the school was let down last year.

Senior Matthew Wetzel said, “There is no way we lose this game. I cannot end on a loss.”

The seniors who have been playing for several years don’t want to end on a loss, and it will be a big game for both teams to determine if they will obtain a good spot in the playoffs or not.
