Everyone watches at least one sports game a year. Whether it’s the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, or even a World Series game, you’ve definitely seen at least one.
Clearly if you’ve seen any of my other stories, I’m a big hockey fan. Additionally, I’ve even started to pay more attention to football too. But, regardless of my opinion, what do BHS students think is the best sport to watch? The Eagle’s Cry sent a survey to BHS students about their favorite sports to watch.
Football
(American) Football is a VERY popular favorite sport to watch all across America. Senior Julia Baumbach agrees with most of America and says that football is her favorite sport to watch. Julia likes football because “it is very fun to watch and [she] likes to watch with [her] family”. BHS sophomore Zoe Sigalas also agrees with Julia. Zoe usually watches it “whenever her parents have it on”.
Hockey
My personal favorite sport to watch is hockey. Haley Flaherty agrees and says she loves hockey because “it is entertaining and [she] loves watching it with my family.” Another BHS Senior, Olivia Greenfield agrees and says she loves “going to Rangers games” and they are “always a fun experience.” Both Olivia and Haley are making a great point.
Tennis
Tennis has had a spark in enjoyment for BHS Students. BHS senior, Lauren Kachadourian believes that tennis is “so much fun to watch” and it’s such “an underrated sport.” Nora Kerrigan disagrees and believes that tennis is “boring” and “no one actually watches it”.
Clearly, BHS students love watching sports. What are your favorite sports? Do you agree with Bethpage students?
