The Bethpage/Plainview area has numerous pizzerias that local families love. From a plain slice to a chicken bacon ranch, The Eagles Cry asked students and teachers what their go-to place is to grab a slice.
Red Volpe
Red Volpe is located on Broadway, Bethpage. It is fairly new, but quite delicious. Sophia Lora shared, “Red Volpe is absolutely amazing. The slices are the perfect combination of sauce and cheese. My favorite slice is the chicken ala vodka.” We asked Andrii Pishko his thoughts on the prices. “I think the pizza is fairly priced.”, Andrii shared.
Pappardelles
Pappardelles is located on Stewart Avenue right in the heart of our beloved town, The Italian restaurant is known for its homemade pasta, it has been in business since 1986 and uses fresh, high quality ingredients. They serve a wide variety of options on their Italian menu such as classic Italian food or even seafood with its cozy Italian design on the inside. Our favorite part, besides the amazing pizza, is seeing our classmate, Rose smile and serve us delicious food!
Mario’s
Home to 7 locations on Long Island, Mario’s is a chain of delicious slices! Mario’s is home to my personal favorite ziti slice! The service is always quick and you always get the perfect ratio of sauce and cheese on your pie.
Villa Montes
“Montes has the chicken bacon ranch slices in town!” Luke Baumbach says. Montes is located in Old Bethpage the workers are very friendly there and they are known for their wide variety of specialty slices of pizza. This is Mr. Malossi’s favorite in town too!
Raimo’s
Raimo’s is located in Plainview with thin, crispy crust with a delicious sauce and plenty of gooey cheese. Whether you’re into a basic Margherita or their Meat Lovers, every slice is packed with flavor. Don’t miss their specialty pies like the “Raimo’s Special”—it’s a game-changer. Their garlic knots are also great.
Ciminellis
Ciminellis has very good regular slices and is located on Central Avenue. Ciminellis is known for its warm and welcoming restaurant and has daily specials.
Clearly, the town of Bethpage has numerous options to get a great slice of pizza.
