Eagles Overcome Macarthur in the Final Minute
On Monday April 20th, the BHS girls’ varsity lacrosse team defeated the Macarthur Generals in a very tightly played 16-15 game. In the final minute, Alexa Ritchie scored from eight meters out break the tie and secure the win for Bethpage. Ritchie netted four goals and fed out two assists, while fellow midfielder Luanna Barbuzano scored four goals and one assist. Also contributing to the offense were midfielders Isabella Bradley and Bridget Cullinane, who both ringed up three goals and two assists.
