The Bethpage Varsity Cheerleading squad will travel to Florida on Thursday, February 8th, to compete in the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship at ESPN World Wide of Sports at Walt Disney World. 

The competitors will showcase both traditional and gameday routines. Prelims are the first round, followed by semi-finals and finals, which take place in front of the castle. On Saturday at 12:52 p.m., the traditional routine will be performed at prelims, and their gameday routine will be performed at 3:32 p.m.

 The cheerleaders are committed to reaching the castle and work hard to achieve their goal. This year, our team has had a lot of success, and we hope that will continue in Florida as well! In order to advance to Nationals, teams need to receive a bid to Nationals. Bethpage participated in regionals on December 17, 2023, at Hofstra University and won bids for both routines! To advance to nationals, one must attend regionals and receive a bid! The Eagle’s Cry is excited to watch the eagles soar and wishes the varsity cheerleading team well!
