With Christmas right around the corner, The Eagle’s Cry discusses the Top 10 Christmas Gifts BHS students are hoping to find under the tree this Christmas.

1. New Shoes- Every year someone you know gets a new pair of shoes as their Christmas gift. There’s nothing better than rocking a new pair of kicks right around the holiday season.
2. Event Tickets- whether it’s for a concert, sports game, or Broadway show, tickets for any of these events make a great Christmas gift. What’s better than getting a gift you can actually experience, and it’s even better when it’s with the people you love
3. New Phone/Laptop- There’s nothing better than getting a new device right before the new year. You know it will be a Christmas to remember when you see an Apple box when you rip off the wrapping paper on Christmas morning.
4. Makeup- This one is for all the makeup and skincare lovers out there. Makeup products are a big hit this Christmas and are sure to be found on everyone’s list. Julia Baumbach says, “My list this year is mainly makeup, and I can’t wait to see what I get!”
5. Room Decor- If you’ve been wanting something new to spice up your room recently, this option is perfect to add to your wishlist. Whether it’s a new comforter or just something to add to your dresser this gift is perfect for Christmas.
6. Gift Cards- If you’re looking for a simple and easy gift, this is the way to go. If the person you’re gifting this to is picky, this is perfect because it allows them to choose what to buy but also adds a personal touch.
7. Airpods/Headphones- This gift is perfect for any music lover and will definitely be used often. There are many different types of headphones and airpods, but if you want something simple, Apple AirPods or Air Maxes are the way to go. Nora Kerrigan says, “I love my airpods; they were the best Christmas gift I’ve ever gotten”.
8. New Clothes- The first day back from break, everyone is rocking their new fits and showing them off to everyone. Getting new clothes for Christmas is one of the best gifts and will never fail to make everyone look trendy and cool.
9. Jewelry- This gift has a wide range of prices and styles, depending on your budget. If you are looking for a higher-end gift to give to someone, this might be the perfect option, but it also allows for cheaper options if you are looking to go that route as well. Either way, it’s a great gift, and everyone loves a new piece of jewelry on Christmas morning. 
10. Money- Of course, we saved the best for last. Everyone loves opening a card and finding cold, hard cash in it. There’s nothing better than going to the mall and spending your new money on whatever your heart desires, or saving it up for something big. At the end of the day, this gift might be the most perfect of them all!
