Fashion “Friend”zy to Occur Tonight

Tonight is the event where everyone will come together to prevent bullying. This night is known as the Fashion Show. This is its 4th year it’s being held since the 2014-15 school year. This show is a charity for the counseling community centers, the south shore child and family guidance, child abuse prevention service, and especially for anti-bullying.

Rebecca Diers, senior has liked “seeing the teachers in an environment outside of the classroom, and seeing everyone come together for a good cause.”

In the first year of the fashion show, students and teachers walked on the carpet. During the second year, teachers only walked the carpet and students performed. Last year, teachers and students from elementary to high school were on stage modeling and performing, there was also a surprise guest of Sal Valentinetti who sung “My Way.”

Mr. Malossi expressed that the show last year “was a joyful special event for anti-bullying and I can’t wait to see what happens tonight.”

The fashion show’s goal is to raise awareness for bullying from elementary to high school. It also shows that everyone will be a hero, not a bully.

Please come and join us February 8th, at 6:00 pm in the Bethpage High School Center of Performing Arts. Tickets are $5 each and are sold as you walk in.
