Over spring break 2016, many BHS teams played games, with most trying to make a playoff push late in the season. The baseball team looked to make a late playoff push. Losing two of three to conference leaders, Valley Stream South, the Eagles will look to sweep in their final two series and sneak into the playoffs.

The softball team played a tournament over the break in which both offense and defense struggled again, resulting in a quick exit. Guaranteed a playoff spot, the girls will try to get back into the winning groove to make it deep in the playoffs.

The girls’ lacrosse team struggled over the break, letting up 20+ goals in the first two games of the week, but they picked it up with a 1-0 win over Roosevelt. With a 4-4 record on the season, playoffs are still a possibility.

The boys’ lacrosse team won two out of three games over the break. Joe Tierney and Pat Luzzi combined for 13 goals in a span of three games leading the team to victory.
